Caesura by Nomad - Album Cover

Continuing the exploration of folk as a style and a cultural commentary, Nomad's sophomore album also continues the exploration of the unknown and unknowable alike. Nomad uses caesura - a break in music or poetry - as a metaphor for the empty space of the unknown in our lives, and they fearlessly stare into that void. To continue the theme started by the first album, this piece was created by deconstructing several etched book illustrations. Much like the album, the design takes in the great mountainous expanse of the Knowable, while reminding us that the Unknown and Unknowable is just as expansive.
